GOLFTEC is now open. The world leader in golf lessons and top employer of PGA Professionals has opened a 2,557 square foot facility at MetWest International in Tampa’s Westshore Business District. Known as one of the most technologically progressive brands in golf, the company’s new location features:
Advanced, state-of-the-art cameras and lighting to provide enhanced high-resolution video for both in-bay playback during lessons and online viewing post-session.
Custom content on in-bay screens to guide players through solo practice sessions and skill assessments, helping them more rapidly achieve their playing goals.
Updated TECfit club-fitting software that integrates deep swing characteristics and ball flight data to further help players and coaches identify the best possible equipment, including recommended club head and shaft combinations
“MetWest is a great location for GOLFTEC,” said Kalyn Brandewie of Florida Retail Partners who brokered the deal on behalf of the project’s owner. Cushman & Wakefield’s Paul Fischetti represented GOLFTEC. “ MetWest has over 3,500 employees with thousands more employed within 2 miles. There are a lot of avid golfers within those numbers. GOLFTEC is a great amenity for the project and the entire Westshore Business District. Customers will be able to improve their golf swing during lunch or before/after happy hour.”
GOLFTEC brings an entertainment component to the mixed-use development already well known for its restaurants and Class A office space. Its latest development, an AC Hotel by Marriott opens in January 2018.
