The AC Hotel Tampa Airport by Marriott International Inc. has opened its doors in Tampa’s Westshore business district.

The 175-room hotel is located just 5 minutes from Tampa International Airport in MetWest International on Boy Scout Boulevard.

“You can’t beat the location of our property,” said Aaron Hoefen, the hotel’s general manager. “We’re not your typical airport hotel. While we are in the airport neighborhood, we’re an oasis from that coming and going travel pattern.”

The hotel features its AC Lounge, some 2,170 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor area, swimming pool, and additional luxury amenities that include high-tech touches. The AC Lounge offers craft beer, handcrafted cocktails and tapas-style food at night.

The AC Hotel Tampa Airport by Marriott International Inc. has opened its doors in Tampa’s Westshore business district. Guests have already checked into the new 175-room property, which is located in MetWest International between One Metro Center, the office building that fronts West Boy Scout Boulevard, and MetWest One.
