Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn joined PwC, MetLife and Cushman & Wakefield at the groundbreaking of the Westshore Business District’s newest office building, MetWest Three. The group celebrated the groundbreaking of the 250,000 square foot office building February 27th. PwC has leased 150,000 square feet in the building with the remaining 100,000 square feet available for lease.
“PwC plans to add 350 jobs over the next few years as the building is being built. “This new space isn’t just a testament to our growth but it is our commitment to the Tampa Bay businesses, the local community and a major investment in our people,” said PwC managing partner Joe Killian.
“Tampa is a place that talent wants to come, that companies like PwC want to grow. South of Atlanta, Tampa will be the economic engine that drives the Southeast United States. There is a momentum about Tampa that hasn’t existed in decades. Our job is to keep that momentum going.” – City of Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn at the MetWest Three groundbreaking.
